Job Description

1. Understand product / application features / requirements and define Test

Strategy, Test Plan business scenarios and get signoff from clients
2. For automation / performance testing projects:
3. Create design for developing automation framework
4. Develop base automation framework for automation of complex product
including creation of libraries for external interfaces like socket, ftp, email
5. Design and review flows for creating automation scripts as per business
scenarios
6. Develop and review automation scripts as per automation flow
7. Creation of test data for running automation scripts
8. Mentor and train other team members in automation techniques and tools,
scripting languages and script development
9. Validate defects found by team for correctness and completeness
10.Ensure complete customer focus in deliveries including managing
requirements, reviews, obtaining acceptance plans and feedbacks
11.Perform defect triage and root cause analysis

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Developing business scenarios from user stories or use cases

2. Creation of automation framework using QTP
3. Developing automation framework and automation scripts for AJAX Web
applications using QTP
4. Writing automation framework and scripts using descriptive programming in
QTP with strong knowledge of VBScript.
5. Excellent skills on atleast one Operating System (Windows/Linux/ UNIX) and
DB (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
6. Excellent skills on atleast one Database (SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
