First identify topics, you should pick a topic that is important for students to understand Have specify learning Objectives, and be clear about learning objectives, they will guide thinking as you select your examples The teacher should select both the examples (at least two) and non-examples. Also the teacher should select the examples that best illustrate the characteristics of the concept (this is of the upmost essential). Also, sequence the examples and non-examples, so students are given as much practice as possible giving them greater understand of the content.

There are four phases to the C-A Model: First: The teacher should introduce the lesion and thoroughly explain how the activity should be performed. Second: Next students should be given examples and non-examples. Students should create their own theories of possibilities based on the original example given by the teacher (or non-examples). Third: More examples and nonexamples should be presented, and students eliminate create new theories. Fourth: A single theory is isolated and defined, and additional examples are analyzed based on the definition.

The students knowledge and understanding of a concept can be measure by defining the concept identifying the concepts characteristics, relate the concept to other concepts, or identify or supply examples of the concept not previously encountered. A teacher can assess critical thinking by having learners analyze the students theories as they are presented with additional examples. Assessing students thinking always involves simultaneous assessment of their understanding.

The activities of C-A model may motivate by the intellectual puzzles used in which the students use clues to identify the main idea. The C-A model capitalizes the motivating effects of students interacting and working together Also allows students to do group work which increases students involvement, which also maximizes motivation.

So what? What is important to understand about this?

The C-A model gives students the opportunity to grow in their understanding of the concepts and critical thinking skills. Students should be given clear specified objectives giving a better chance at understanding what the teacher wants them to know and understand. Assessment of the student is done by having them to define the concept, give characteristics, or supply examples of the kinds of characteristics unique to that concept help the student to better understand and motivate them to learn.
