The new California standards require teacher candidates to experience a developmental sequence of carefully planned and supervised school based experiences. The School of Education has thoughtfully planned a progressive sequence to balance the theory of education with effective practice and real experiences in schools. In this course the classroom observation hours (10 minimum) are combined with a teacher assessment task including teacher adaptations for language learners and a special needs student.
