The first two photos are from Nara, where a friend of mine found machya (green tea) flavored Oreos and let me have one! Turns out they werent real Oreos, and more like moonpie-type things but it was pretty good, especially considering Im not huge on the green tea flavor, unlike the rest of Japan. Really anything here thats ever green tea flavored has a very light taste to it. But its just okay. Question 1: Does the author really like green tea flavor very much? Why? Use one sentence from the above paragraph to prove your opinion or paraphrase it to your own words.

I had seen these Doritos in the store, but didnt get the chance to photograph them. They werent exactly totally different from Doritos they were definitely Doritos chips but the flavor was very off. It was a lot sweeter for one (as Ive noticed a lot of foods in Japan tend to be), and wasnt particularly cheesy or spicy like the nacho or cool ranch flavors are.

These are corn ice pops. My Japanese roommate said these were weird even to the Japanese people, and yet Im able to find them at the big convenience store chain. I say big chain, not big store. I note this specifically because these are common. But I dont know she had never eaten one and had no desire to. We tried to coerce another friend into trying one, but no one wanted that.

Question 2: What are the differences between Japanese Doritos and the one that the author used to eat? Where did the author find the corn ice pops?
