1. Khi nim v phn loi: 1.1. Khi nim B tng asphalt (BTAP) l mt loi nhn to nhn c sau khi ri v lm cht hn hp gm VLK v bitum. L vt liu c s dng ph bin cho xy dng mt ng.

Theo ln ca ct liu: BTAP c, nng v m chia ra 4 loi:


Loi ht ln (ht th): Dmax 19 mm Loi ht trung bnh (ht trung): Dmax 12.5 mm Loi ht nh (ht mn): Dmax 9.5 mm Ct: Dmax 4.75 mm

BTAP rng chia ra 3 loi:


BTNR 19: Dmax 19 mm BTNR 25: Dmax 25 mm BTNR 37.5: Dmax 37.5 mm

Theo t l gia dm (hoc si) hoc ct: BTAP nng v m chia ra 3 loi:
Loi A: nu t l dm Loi B: Loi C 50-60% 35-50% 20-35%

BTAP ngui chia ra 2 loi:


Loi Bx Loi Cx 35-50% 20-35%

BTAP c nng ch dng ct chia ra 2 loi:


Loi D: nu lng ct xay < 30% Loi E: nu dng ct t nhin >30%

Theo cht lng v mc giao thng: Cp I: dng cho lp trn Cp II: dng cho lp di.

2. Cu trc ca BTAP: Cu trc c khung:


H s lp y l rng gia cc ht ct liu bng cht lin kt asphalt (bitum + bt khong) 1. Cc ht ct liu tip xc vi nhau trc tip hoc thng qua lp mng mng, cng ca bitum. T l bt khong thng t 4-14%; lng bitum t 5-7%. n nh vi nhit .

3. Cc tnh cht ca B tng asphalt: 3.1. Cng : Tnh cht c hc ca BTAP ph thuc vo kh nng chu lc v n nh cc iu kin nhit khc nhau: 3.1.1. Cng chu nn: c xc nh 3 mc nhit khc nhau:
Cng nn 50oC: biu th kh nng n nh ng ca VL lm BT; Cng nn 20oC: l cng tiu chun ca BT (kh nng lm vic thng xuyn); Cng nn 0oC: biu th kh nng chng nt.

3.1. Cng : 3.1.1. Cng chu nn: Cng chu nn l cng gii hn khi nn mu tiu chun nhit v t ti theo quy nh. Kch thc mu tiu chun c ng knh (d) bng chiu cao (h), v bng 101; 71.4; v 50.5 mm ty theo ln ca VLK. Nhit v phng php to mu ty thuc vo phng php thit k v thit b s dng.

3.1. Cng : 3.1.1. Cng chu nn: Cng chu nn c c xc nh trn my nn thy lc vi tc gia ti 30.5 mm/pht.

3.4. hao mn: hao mn ca BTAP ph thuc vo cng v cng ca VLK. L hao khi lng, hoc chiu dy, trn 1 cm2 b mt BTAP khi chu ti trng mi mn. Mc hao mn ca BTAP thng t 0.2 1.5 mm/ nm. Ty thuc vo hao mn ca VLK.
