The Pomona Police Department remains vigilant and will continue to utilize all available resources to suppress violence and make the community safer. Throughout the year, the Police Department has used a multifaceted approach to address crime, which has included high-visibility patrols, gang sweeps, undercover operations, intelligence gathering, and collaboration with our Law Enforcement partners. These combined efforts resulted in a significant number of arrests and firearms recovered and most likely had an effect on the 14% overall reduction of crime experienced.
