Compare biological neuron and artificial neuron. Realize NAND gate and NOR gate with three inputs using McCulloch-Pitts model. What is meant by activation function? Explain in detail various types of neuron activation functions. Discuss in detail the classification of ANN. With neat sketch explain discrete perceptron model and also explain its training algorithm. Obtain output equations and weight update equations of a multilayer feed forward neural network using back-propagation algorithm (consider a 3-layer, n-input neural network).
