LIGHTING SYSTEM
1- Final approval on emergency lighting system is subject to the Local Civil Defence approval. 2- Final approval on lighting system is subject to the final ID approval. 3- Average maintained illuminance in the lighting calculations does not comply with the recommended illuminance level by CIBSE (e.g. Low voltage room P0B.219 has an average of 164 lux instead of the recommended 200lux, and Boiler room P0B.130 has an average of 181 lux instead of the recommended 200lux). 4- The number of lighting fixture units on the calculation sheet does not match the number on the lighting layout (e.g. a 11 number F4 lighting fixture is used for corridor P0B.119 in the calculation sheet, while only 9 number lighting fixture units is distributed on the layout, and a 7X4 F2 lighting fixture units are shown in the lighting calculation sheet for the boiler room P0B.130 while a 8X4 F2 lighting fixture units are used on the lighting layout). 5- Provide a complete lighting calculation sheet for all spaces (e.g. BMS room, mechanical rooms, LV rooms, MV rooms, pump rooms, chiller room, Human resource, etc.).

POWER SYSTEM
1 No indication about the power for mechanical equipments (location, type and ratings of isolators). This note is applicable to the following drawings: (EMT-ELE-DWG-APT-ba300, EMTELE-DWG-CMB-ba300, EMT-ELE-DWG-CMB-01300, EMT-ELE-DWG-CMB-03300, EMT-ELE-DWG-APT-04300). 2 There is no indication in drawing EMT-ELE-DWG-CMB-00300 regarding the power for shops. 3 For drawing EMT-ELE-DWG-APT-XX901: a. Please clarify the metering strategy since we cant find any indication for metering in the SMDB for apartments and services (general lighting and power). b. Provide full power calculations including voltage drop and short circuit calculations. c. Provide the distribution boards final schedules as per working drawings. d. The demand current calculation (Id) does not match the demand power (Pd), review the demand currents. (e.g. the specialist kitchen load is Pi=244 kW and Pd=146.4 with 0.85 power factor, while the demand current Id=262A which neither contribute to Pi or Pd since Ii=244*1000/(400*3*.85)= 414A and Id=146.4*1000/(400*3*.85)= 248.6A). e. Never feed two branch circuits from the same tap-off unit, either to use dedicated tap-off unit for every circuit or to combine the two circuits (e.g. LP-4-1-01 and XLP-4-1-01 are fed from the same tap-off unit, and LP-4-G-01 and LP-4-G-02 are fed from the same tap-off unit). f. The size of some cables does not comply with IEE regulations, as the cable current currying capacity Iz shall be greater than the rating of the circuit breaker protecting the cable (e.g. F4-1-7 is 4(1*120) and protected by 400AT circuit breaker, while the current currying capacity for this cable is 396A as per IEE).
