Thank you very much for the interest and for taking the time to contact me. At this stage I will be running One Class on Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to 5:00pm for children attending grades 3 to 7, as most of the demand has been from parents of older children. The classes will commence on Thursday 21 February, which gives everyone a chance to settle back into school again. Our first term comprises of 7 weeks tuition and the fee of $125 is inclusive of all materials (workbook and learning package). For those interested in talking to me about the class and the enrolment process, I will be at St As on Thursday 13 February from 2:00pm (outside the office) and I would love to meet and greet you all. Secure your childs spot now as numbers are limited. Fantstico! Hasta Luego. Kathia Faranda (Spanish Teacher) kathia.faranda@gmail.com

St A's 2014 Swimming Carnival
Another great day was had by all last Friday at PBC pool. Congratulations to all students who competed and cheered for their respective House Colour teams in such a positive manner. It was pleasing to see many students having a go in races irrespective of their swimming ability. The day would not have been possible without the assistance of many people. Many thanks to our dedicated teachers in their many roles on the day. In particular, I would like to thank Mr Montgomery and Mr OShea (set up), Mr Sanders and Mrs Rutland (computer and recording area), Mr Hallinan (starter), Mr Dick and Miss Miller (Marshalling), Mrs King and Mrs Hamill (Chief Timekeeper/Judge) the remaining staff who were timekeepers, First Aid, ribbons or judges and Mr Montgomery (House Colour supervision). They all did a brilliant and it was very much appreciated. Thank you to our Year 7 and 6 students who helped organise their House Colour teams on the day, with their great example of leadership we were able to finish the carnival on time.

This Wednesday 13 February we will be announcing the House Colour champions for 2014, along with the age champions and the school male and female champion. This will take place at our morning gathering time at 8:30am. Once again, congratulations to all on another good first up St As carnival for 2014!
