Analysis Results:The proportional sag was 0.2 while mesh size is 2.

this image shows the mesh and node size of the drive shaft. As one end was clamped and on other end torque and bending force was applied.

During analysis of the driveshaft it was found that, the shaft will not fail under bending and torque applied to it. According to formula student 2009 the torque was around 210N and bending force was assumed as 100N, the material Selected for the drive shaft was steel which has yield strength 215Mpa. So the maximum Von Mises stress (nodal value) was around 1.87336e+008N_m2

Stress induced in the drive shaft:The various colours on the drive shaft indicate the amount of stress induced in it, The range of stress induced in it are found in right corner

This image shows maximum stress developed at one of the splines the area in red colour indicates the chances of failure of drive shaft material.

This image shows the displacement of nodes in the driveshaft .The range of displacement of nodes varies between 0.0282 -0.282.

The maximum displacement of nodes in analysis was found at the end of the spline to be more. The displacement was 0.282 at the end where torque and bending force was applied. The chances in fatigue are at the bottom end of the splines.
