    Chainbow provides independent advice to those affected by our proposals to ensure they understand their rights in relation to the various compensation policies being made available by the Thames Tideway Tunnel project. What is the Independent Advisory Service? The Independent Advisory Service is there to help you understand: Our mitigation and compensation policies, explaining how they work and how you may benefit from them. How you could be affected if you live above or near the tunnel route and are concerned about the potential impact. They can help answer your questions about ground settlement and subsoil acquisition. How you could benefit from our Exceptional Hardship Procedure if you are thinking of selling your property. Is the advice free? Yes, call our free 24-hour number 0800 0721 086 to speak to the Independent Advisory Service. They are available 9am to 5.30pm, outside of these hours our team will arrange for you to be contacted the next working day. The advice is available to individuals and other groups such as schools and communities who either are entitled or believe they may be entitled to mitigation or compensation under any of the relevant policies. Is the advice really independent? Yes, the team who will help answer your questions are not project employees; they are part of a company called Chainbow. They are providing advice based on their knowledge of the project and their expertise in property management and consultancy.
