China and India have become economic giants that threaten Philippine companies by dominating global markets. China has seen strong wage growth, the rise of a middle class, and more people gaining internet and cell phone access than any other country due to its large population. While India has also grown, its success has not been felt as broadly across society as China's since many Indians still depend on agriculture for their livelihood.
