Emission abatement: For chillers which, at any time, are below atmospheric pressure, provide a means of - preventing air infiltration and refrigerant loss; - preventing the subsequent need for purging to the atmosphere; and - pressurising the chiller for leak-testing purposes. - Deemed-to-satisfy: Refrigerant emission abatement systems, permanently attached to chillers, and which automatically maintain positive pressure within the chiller vessel during non-operational periods, by referencing atmospheric pressure. Components: Provide the following: - Aluminium-plated, silicon heat blankets or hot water heater. - Solid state safety circuit/automation interface. - Refrigerant pressure controller. - Leak test mode set points. - For blanket type systems: . Temperature limiting module capable of ensuring that the heat supply cannot exceed a predetermined high limit temperature by sensing heat blanket temperature. . Proportional control over heat blankets to maintain setpoint.
