When I finished my undergraduate study I get a job at Compassion Tanzania which is the NGOs
deal with children who are in hard environment .I worked as computer teacher and because of
my education I was given a title of principal in Mlandizi Anglican computing centre and most of
my student was those whose sponsored by compassion .When I started the work I discover
something which makes most student to fail not only in computer studies but also in school
studies and also what makes the centre to be stagnant . The really problem was management,
staffs problem, and staff misbehaviour, so I decided to rectify the problem .As principal whos
acting as the link between the management and staffs I sought the solution from both parts and
then I had to make hard decision, by providing the recommendation to the management and to
create guidelines to my staff.
In fact none of them where happy about it, especially management because one of my
recommendation is to rise the salary of each staffs and also in the staff side one of guidelines is
to impose heavy timetable by which each teacher supposed to follow this seems to be very
difficult for teachers whose spend a lot of time outside of centre seeking for part time job.
It was difficult for me at first because I lose favour in management and also I loss two of my
teachers but still I kept my faith and decision. By the end of October/2011 everything was settled
and result from student was out and it showed great improvement for just short time when I was
there everyone was happy. Unfortunately I find another job so I moved to link soft as the project
manager in installation of INARA/3G.
