ARCHMERE SENIOR COMMITS TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND LACROSSE FOR ROCHESTER
INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

(Claymont, DE) May 14, 2014 Senior Amanda Olsen 14 has committed to Rochester
Institute of Technology (RIT) to play both basketball and lacrosse next year.

A three-sport athlete while at Archmere, Amanda has earned 11 varsity letters for
basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball. She has received All Conference recognition for
volleyball, basketball and lacrosse, and All State recognition for basketball and
lacrosse. Amanda has also coached CYO youth volleyball, basketball and lacrosse
teams for the past four years.

In addition to her athletics and coaching, Amanda volunteers for the Special Olympics,
and she plays both flute and saxophone for Archmeres stage band and jazz band.

The captain of the volleyball and basketball teams said she has enjoyed her four years
at Archmere and is sad that is coming to an end. But she is looking forward to the
opportunity to continue her athletic career at the collegiate level.
