GIS Project Coordinator:

The GIS Project Coordinator will have the responsibility of working with various local entities in
promotion of Southern Tier West RP&DBs programs. The successful candidate must be proficient
in using several ESRI Products including ArcGIS Desktop 9.x or 10.x (with extensions) and ArcGIS
Server. The successful candidate will have experience creating and maintaining
Shapefiles/Geodatabases, serving out GIS Data to multiple users through multiple interfaces,
including web viewer deployment (ESRI Flex Viewer), Web Server Maintenance and Database
Administration, using Trimble GPS Field Data Collection Units (GeoXH), processing data with
Pathfinder Office as well as Familiarity with FGDC Metadata Standards. Duties involve creating and
developing programs that have an effect on local municipalities, communicating with staff as well
as independent contractors, and generating reports to various state and federal agencies. Salary -
$30K-$34K plus benefits.
