Purpose - Reach consensus on which features of Canvas should be standardized, how to

best teach students necessary group work skills, such as assuming responsibility for
submitting group work in Canvas, and early NHD planning, including establishing the
criteria for judging projects to move on to the Greater Denver Metro Regional
Competition.

Outcomes - Make Canvas more uniform for students/parent viewing, increase
submission rate for group work or development of a fair method of evaluating other
group members who completed their responsibilities, determine criteria/logistics for
school-wide NHD competition.

4) DISCUSSION ABOUT HOW TO TEACH THE SKILLS OF GROUPWORK. Defining the
roles of the team members? Who has responsibility for submitting the final product for the
group? Etc. Some parents are complaining that their kids grades are suffering because other
team members are not turning in the required work.
