Instalation of Rdbms Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 :

1 In oracle dump check for Sapserver.cmd
2 Next
3 Data base Type: No
4 Install
5 Now give the respective 3 cds one after the other
6 Exit
7 Perform typical configuration
8 Exit.


Installation of 4.7 kernal 620:

1 IN 4.7 dump check for Setup.cmd
2 I agree
3 Select Standerd type
4 Select SAP r/3 enterprise 4.7 for oracle
5 I Agree
6 System id (sid)
7 Select radio button central instance
8 System no between 00 to 99
9 Select local instance
10 SAP system directory select the higher configured disk dive
11 Next
12 Sap System administrator pass word
13 Sap system service administrator password
14 Now browse for kernel cd in 4.7 dump
15 Start
After installing central instance
1 windows start button ->programs->sapinst oracle
sapinst->prepare new installation
2 windows start button-> sapinst oracle sapinst-> sap inst
server gui
3 Now select sap r/3 enterprise 4.7 for oracle
4 I agree
5 Sap system id
6 Select data base instance
7 Select standard installation
8 Install sap system in new database
9 Give data base system id (mostly system id of sap central
instance)
10 Give system no same as central system no
11 Select local installation radio button
12 Next
13 Now give data base System directorys which has lot of space
in both directorys drives (mostly give different drives names)
14 Give sap system administrator password
15 Give sap system service administrator password
16 Now browse sap kernel cd in 4.7
17 It displays oracle listener configurations lick next
18 Next
19 Log details are displayed click next
20 Then browse for sap database in exports cd and give first
export that is exp1
21 Then browse the remaining exports in the similar way
22 Now select radio button load packages according to size of
their data files
23 Now it gives passwords of database users
24 Next
25 Now select radio button no mnls support required
26 Next it will take about 4 to 5 hours to install depending up on
the hard ware configurations
27 In the last stages of installation it asks for sap* and ddic
passwords give them.
