3.1 Put silicone grease on the O-ring (mandatory)

Note: Two pole mounting installation kits are
available: integrated antenna and non-Integrated
antenna. This procedure describes the antenna
mount only.
2.1 Install the integrated antenna mounting kit.
2.2 Verify the polarization on the antenna nose and
change it if required.
4.1 Factory delivery is in V polarization.
To change the polarization, loosen the two
screws and line up the H or V polarization with
the polarization references.
WARNING: To avoid equipment damage, do not
remove the waterproof tape that is glued on the
MPT waveguide.

3.2 Remove the solar shield from the MPT by
unscrewing the screws.
3.3 Set the appropriate polarization on the MPT
(see step 4); the connectors must face down.
3.4 Open the four locking hooks on the MPT walls
and slide the MPT on the antenna nose adapter.
3.5 Secure the MPT module with the four hooks.

5.1 Set the coupler polarization (antenna side) to
match the antenna polarization (same process as
steps 3 and 4: Install and Set MPT polarization), and
then connect.
5.2 Secure the module with the four hooks on the
corresponding brackets.
WARNING: Verify that the indication engraved
on the coupler is directed toward the pole side.
Note: MPT [1+1] configuration is always in horizontal
polarization; this setting does not determine the link
polarization.

7.1 Connect the MPT grounding connector to the nearest grounding plate, using the ground cable

10.1 Plug the connector on the maintenance port on the
MPT; see (A).
10.2 Plug the banana plugs into the multi-meter to align
the antenna; see (B).
Line A-A represents azimuth tracking path of a properly aligned antenna.
10.3 Adjust the site elevation to the tracking path (line A-A)
and adjust the azimuth to the maximum RSL (lobe number 2).

9.1 Use optical LC-LC preassembled cable

Optical LC-LC preassembled cable is available in
different lengths to interconnect MPT to MSS.
9.2 Use coaxial cable with N-to-Ethernet pairs
pigtails on each side (plus RJ45 and R2CT
connectors) for MPT power.
Note: This is a guideline for assembling the R2CT with the RJ45 connector for CAT5e cable. For details
see Best practice and tips MPR R2CT and RJ45 connector and grounding 3FQ 24013 1100 PCZZA.
8.1 Prepare the R2CT connector, insert the CAT5e cable, and insert the RJ45 plug unlocking clip.
