How to test alarm OPTO 1 Intruder Alarm?

Step 1: Ensure the door close and intruder alarm is seizing status
Step 2: Open the door to test intruder alarm. Intruder alarm will
activated. Check with BSC integrator the intruder alarm activated
in M2000 and can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: Close the door again. Intruder alarm will seizing. Check
with BSC integrator the intruder alarm will deactivated in M2000.
How to test alarm OPTO 2 Over Temperature Alarm?

Step 1: Usually Maxiss Temperature Sensor Honeywell will set as 28 C
or more than 28 C.
Step 2: To activate Over Temperature alarm, turn the Honeywell sensor
to 10 C and listen click sound. Check with BSC integrator the Over
Temperature is activated in M2000. Can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Over Temperature alarm, turn the Honeywell
sensor to 28 C and listen click sound. Check with BSC integrator the
Over Temperature is deactivated in M2000.
How to test alarm OPTO 3 AC Main Failure?

Step 1: Check the delay units are installed
inside the ACPDB (usually installed on left top
of ACPDB).
Step 2: To activate AC Main Failure alarm, take out one unit of the delay
units. Check with BSC integrator the AC Main Failure is activated in
M2000. Can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate AC Main Failure alarm, install the delay unit which
is already take out previously. Check with BSC integrator the AC Main
Failure is deactivated in M2000.

How to test alarm for Exsel Rectfier - OPTO 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5?

OPTO 3 AC Main Failure
Step 1: Ensure the AC 2A fuses are installed properly manner and
no OPTO 3 alarm occur at BSC
Step 2: To activate AC Main Failure alarm, take
out one unit of AC 2A fuse. Check with BSC
integrator the AC Main Failure is activated in
M2000. Can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate AC Main Failure alarm, install the AC 2A fuse
which is already take out previously. Check with BSC integrator the AC
Main Failure is deactivated in M2000.
OPTO 1 and 2 just follow the slides as Eltek SMPS 1000W Rectifier
OPTO 4 and 5, no any test require for DC High Voltage and DC Low Voltage

Step 1: Ensure entire Rectifier Circuit breaker units are switch ON , if
any reporting to BSC integrator is required. Make sure no OPTO 6
alarm occur at BSC
Step 2: To activate OPTO 6
Rectifier PSU Failure alarm,
Switch OFF one of the PSU
unit circuit breaker. Check with
BSC integrator the Rectifier
PSU Failure is activated in
M2000. Can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Rectifier PSU Failure alarm,
Switch ON circuit breaker which is switch OFF
previously. Check with BSC integrator the Rectifier

out DC 2A fuse. Check with BSC integrator the

LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Battery Disconnect Alarm,
install the DC 2A fuse which is already take out
previously. Check with BSC integrator the Battery
Disconnect is deactivated in M2000.

How to test alarm OPTO 1 - T5 Cabinet with Emerson Rectifier?

Step 1: Ensure the door sensor is in good condition and intruder
alarm is seizing status
Step 2: Open the door to test intruder alarm. Intruder alarm will
activated. Check with BSC integrator the intruder alarm activated
in M2000 and can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: Close the door sensor or press the door spring button.
Intruder alarm will seizing. Check with BSC integrator the intruder
alarm will deactivated in M2000.
How to test alarm OPTO 2 - T5 Cabinet with Emerson Rectifier?

Step 1: Usually Maxiss T5 cabinet for FAN circuit breaker units are at
the right hand of DC panel. But same cases the FAN CB units are in
between the DC panel, please check on site accordingly
Step 2: To activate Over Temperature alarm, switch OFF the FAN unit
circuit breaker and the FAN unit will not operation. Check with BSC
integrator the Over Temperature is activated in M2000. Can use LED lit
to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Over Temperature alarm, switch ON the FAN
unit circuit breaker and FAN unit will operation in normal condition.
Check with BSC integrator the Over Temperature is deactivated in
M2000.
How to test alarm OPTO 3 AC Main Failure?

Step 1: Check the AC fuse units are installed
properly inside T5 Emerson Rectifier cabinet.
Step 2: To activate AC Main Failure
alarm, take out one AC fuse unit.
Check with BSC integrator the AC
Main Failure is activated in M2000.
Can use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate AC Main Failure alarm,
press or install back the fuse unit which is
already take out previously. Check with BSC
integrator the AC Main Failure is deactivated in
M2000.

breaker. Check with BSC integrator the Rectifier
PSU Failure is activated in M2000. Can use LED lit
to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Rectifier PSU Failure alarm,
Switch ON circuit breaker which is switch OFF
previously. Check with BSC integrator the Rectifier
PSU Failure is deactivated in M2000.
How to test alarm OPTO 7? Battery Disconnect

Step 1: Ensure entire Baterries Circuit
Breaker units are in switch ON condition, if
any reporting to BSC integrator is required.
Make sure no OPTO 7 alarm occur at BSC
Step 2: To activate OPTO 7 Battery Disconnect alarm, Switch
OFF one of the battery unit circuit breaker. Check with BSC
integrator the Rectifier PSU Failure is activated in M2000. Can
use LED lit to test.
Step 3: To deactivate Battery Disconnect alarm, Switch ON
circuit breaker which is switch OFF previously. Check with
BSC integrator the Battery Disconnect alarm is deactivated in
M2000.

Case 1 Temperature Sensor Faulty

During OPTO 2 alarm test The temperature sensor cant trigger
the OPTO 2 alarm to BSC. The problem is may caused by both
screw units as shown were loose or the alarm cables were wrong
connected ports or loose connection.
Loose the screw on
top of Temperature
Sensor
Remove the cover of
Temperature Sensor
Make sure the alarm cable
connect into right position.
Must in screw 1 and 3. 2 is
not connect anything.
Make sure the both screw as
shown above are not loose. If
loose, please install and
screw until tighten.
If everything in place,
just close the cover and
tighten up the screw.
Test again the OPTO 2
alarm with turn the
temperature sensor
If alarm OPTO 2 trigger
as normal.
Troubleshooting closed
If alarm OPTO 2 cant
trigger or no any
occurrence happen after
repair action. Please inform
Huawei or Maxis.
Case 2 Rectifier PSU Module Faulty

If have any alarm occur on
PSU unit, please remove the
faulty PSU unit and continue
the alarm test. If not, the
OPTO 6 alarm will always
occur during the alarm
testing. At the same time
inform Huawei or Maxis
Personnel.
Ensure entire PSU modules
are working in normal
condition with green LED
lit ON
Case 3 Batteries Unit Not Exist at Site or Faulty or
Circuit Breaker units were switched OFF

Make sure the batteries unit are exist at site for cabin,
T5 cabinet or others related equipment location.
Check the circuit breaker for batteries unit are switch
ON condition. After that, just perform OPTO 7
Battery Disconnect Alarm Test. If above occurrence
happen at site, please inform Huawei or Maxis.
No Batteries unit exist on
site or batteries were
vandalized.
Batteries unit circuit breaker
were switched OFF
