The math of lines: Palm Lines

I always believe that there is certain coordination in every creation of God. This
sync is important whether it is in music, arts or anything. Best artist is one who
understands this sync. This is called Laya and Tala.! Betala is one who does not
understand the music. "very creation of God has this inherent coordination. "ven
#vastu$ is a coordination of ob%ects around us. It is a &ind of reverse engineering.
It means understanding the maths of painting and then creating a panting
through the same &nowledge. 'sually artists follow the direct path which is also
good. They reach the same goal by direct &nowledge. (ame is the case with
Palmistry.
Palm lines are interpreted by several Palmists in di)erent ways. (ame lines are
called with di)erent names and everybody carries a di)erent interpretation. I
have my own. I believe that most of the lines have a reason for their e*istence. I
am tal&ing about the primary lines of life, head and heart.
Time and again, I used to thin& that why heart or +eeva re&ha! should start
below ,ercury and why it should not start from somewhere else. -ere is my
interpretation or rather I should correct myself and say that it is not my own
interpretation. "verything in my subconscious is a part of divine within. (o it is
Brahman$ within, which is telling me all this. .othing is mine.
+eeva/ re&ha! is %eeva re&ha! because +upiter is +eev&ar&a. 0 nadi astrologer
will tell you why +upiter is %eeva &ar&a and what is the meaning of 1ahu in front of
this planet. This %eeva represents life so the (amudri&a shastra! tells us that it
is Life line. There is another meaning of the same line. Below the 2nger of
,ercury there is place which belongs to 3etu. 3etu is not a planet but it is
considered a very strong point in traditional vedic astrology. 3etu is related to
(pirituality and renunciation. .ear to &etu is the mount of ,ercury which shows
the initial point of spirituality starts from education which in turn is a part
belonging to ,ercury only. But Buddhi! or ,ercury cannot give you 2nal
renunciation. It is %ust the starting point. The %eeva re&ha! shows the same.
(tarting from the base &nowledge it leads one to higher learning or spiritual
&nowledge which belongs to +upiter only. +eeva 1e&ha is %ust li&e the %ourney of a
%eeva! or atman!. It starts from base education and then rests in higher
learning. This is a hidden sign given to every %eeva!. (o this line starts below
,ercury 2eld and reaches the higher plains of +upiter. That is the reason why it is
called a +eeva re&ha!. 3etu is Brahmarandhra! in human body. The %eeva
travels from body to body and carries the inherent (ans&aras! in it. It ac4uires a
body through mortal beings li&e man and woman.
But %eeva$s %ourney in this body is represented by this re&ha. 3etu carries the
past sans&aras which is reason behind this birth. This +eeva re&ha! is the
present body of this soul. The setting of this %eeva re&ha tells us whether the
%ourney of &nowledge is starting from Brahma! within, or it is starting from the
process of tar&a vitar&a. Its 2nal position tells us whether the soul is still hanging
between 4uestions and logic or it has set its laya! or music set with supreme
Brahman!. 0 mere glance on it can tell you about the %ourney of the soul. Please
refer to the picture to understand the same.
There are two more lines which are important. 5ne is called ,atru re&ha! or
,oon line. It is also &nown as the line of head. The second is the Pitru re&ha! or
the line of vitality. They both start from the area of 1ahu above the 2eld of ,ars.
,ars and 6enus are placed inside the line of life or Pitru re&ha!. ,ars 7 6enus
represent the birth of human body. ,ost of time ,atru! and Pitra! re&ha are
combined from the beginning. ,ost of us are born with bondage that is why 1ahu
is %ust placed above the ,ars area from where these two lines originate. ,ars,
6enus and ,oon 8in dar&er half9 represent the base level things represented by
1ahu. 1ahu area is also &nown as Pitri &shetra! in hand. Pitri &shetra! also
means belonging to ancestors.
5ur soul has bondage or rina be it in form of pitra or matra rina. -ence we ta&e
this body to remove all those bondages and ties 8or we %ust get tangled9. It is
interesting that when these two lines are not combined in the beginning, the
person is more of an independent sort and does not believe in too much
bondage.
(o much so, that some samudri&a boo&s represents the delin&ing of the two as a
birth of a characterless person. But the meaning of the same is entirely di)erent.
0ctually, when -ead line or ,atru re&ha is not combined to life line or pitru re&ha
then it begins from 1ahu$s 8:ragon head 9 area. -ere the mind is ruled by
shadows or is fogged. (uch a person carries a shadowed mind. ;hen this line of
head or matru re&ha is wavy as a serpent then the person will get a)ected by
spirits. (ometimes people li&e them are unreliable. They are stubborn when
these lines originate from higher up. They ma&e friends and foes very easily.
1ahu also represents demons or possessions in astrology. Guli&a! has special
say in these matters. These &inds of things happen because of past births and
sans&aras. That is why matru re&ha originating from 1ahu$s area represents
possessions. This is a comple* topic and needs further learning to grasp its
meaning. People having such combination have strong 1ahu and often 1ahu ,
,oon and ,ars are placed in same direction.
0ll base instincts represented by 6enus, ,ars etc are related to 1ahu or ,aya!
0ll things related to &nowledge and Gyana! belongs to 3etu.
,atru re&ha is also called <handra re&a. (o matru re&ha cannot be called head
line. (hastras tell us <handrama ,ansoh %at&ah!. This means ,oon is the heart
of a person so this line should be called ,ana re&ha. There is no representation
of ,ana! in body. -ence in ;estern Palmistry it is called -ead line!.
<handra 1e&ha and (hu&ra re&ha both represents the base things li&e emotions,
love, passion etc. In short they represent the bondages because of which we ta&e
birth again and again. 6enus and ,ars 2ll a person with =eal and passion. ,ay be
that is the reason why it is called life line. But these are the base things in life.
+eeva! should be inclined to nirvana! that is why %eeva re&ha is life line. 0lso
+eeva &ar&a is +upiter only.
+eeva re&ha carries soul (urya parvat8(un mount9, &arma 8shani parvat, (aturn
mount9 and Buddhi 8Buddha or ,ercury mount9. These are the things which
travel from birth to birth. (hastras e*plain how %eeva is bounded by (hani or
3arma. In Bhagvad geeta there is a slo&a which says:
>atha dhenu sahastreshu vatso vindanti matram,
Tatha poorva &ritam &armam &artar manugachati!
3armas can discover you no matter how many births you have ta&en. They are
li&e a calf who can 2nd out its mother even from a herd of thousand cows. They
follow you from birth to birth, you cannot hide from them. This cannot be
e*plained though the science which people call science.
;hen +eeva re&ha is chained or crippled it indicates problems in the present
%ourney of the %eeva. If it is assisted by an unavailable (hani re&ha or destiny
line then the person has to lead a very di?cult life. ;hen a crippled %eeva re&ha
goes down towards 1ahu or pitri &shetra then the person has a combination of
+upiter and 1ahu. "ven its wavy structure denotes the same. ;hen %eeva re&ha
has tail li&e structure in its origin or end and there is a sign of eye or 2sh near
the phalange line of thumb then the person is a soothsayer or he@she will
possess the power of seeing the future.
