    DURATEK-8050 is a single compound thermoset lacquer made exclusively for float glass back painting.     DURATEK 8050


    DURATEK-8050 is made exclusively for float glass back paint. DURATEK-8050 is a single compound thermoset
    lacquer.

    SALIENT FEATURES OF DURATEK-8050:

    TECHNICAL DATA:

    GENERIC TYPE : Single pack Thermosetting Coating.

    STORAGE STABILITY : 6 months from the date of manufacture under
    Recommended conditions.
    THEORETICAL
    COVERAGE CAPACITY : 80 sq.ft./kg @ 40 microns D.F.T.
    CURING TIME : 12 mins. at 160c or 10 mins. at 180c.

    COMPONENTS:

    Recommended D.F.T. : 40 microns.
    Application Method : Curtain coating.
    Hardness : 3 Hb-2 kg Presser.
    Recoatebility : After baking.
    Curing : 80% after curing
    : 90% after 24 Hrs.
    : 100% after 72 Hrs.


    Pretreatment: Pretreatment is very important. Before curtain coating the surface must be clean, dry and
    free from oil/grease.

    STORAGE:

    DURATEK-8050 is basically a thermoset material. The storage room temperature should be less
    or equal to 28C. If temperature is more than 28C then polymerization (reaction) takes place.

    Store DURATEK-8050 in dry place. The container should be packed tightly.


    METHOD OF APPLICATION:

    1. Application Viscosity should be 40 5 sec. by Ford cup-4 @ 25C.
    2. Number of coats recommended 1 coat.
    3. Coating Area Temperature - 30C or less.

    Refer MSDS for safety precautions.
