Dear Praying Friends and Family,

Here is a brief update on our efforts

to get to South Sudan and Uganda to
serve the Lord. We are thankful for
the meetings and missions'
conferences that are scheduled over
the next several weeks both in
Arizona and California. We are also
thankful to the Lord for His presence
and grace through trying times, for it
is in such times that He manifests
Himself to us and encourages us to
press forward for Him.

The strife within South Sudan that
escalated last December remains
unresolved. This is an unfortunate
situation as this new nation has
already endured over two decades of
war with Sudan, and now they are
fighting amongst themselves. The two
sides were supposed to have had a
transitional government by August,
but that deadline has come and gone,
and a new deadline has been set. This
turmoil has claimed many lives and
has forced many South Sudanese to
be displaced.* South Sudan needs
fervent prayer that this intertribal
discord will end and that it will not
hinder the spread of the Gospel.

In January, I have the privilege of
helping lead a team of students
from West Coast Baptist College
on a missions' trip to Uganda. In
addition to having opportunities to
serve and assist missionaries in
their work, this trip will also
provide good exposure to culture
in Uganda, and I'm honored to be
able to be a part of this missions'
trip.

We are also continuing to press
toward a trip to South Sudan and
Uganda next May and are trusting
the Lord to make this possible.
Our goal is to be in South Sudan
during a portion of the Pyle
family's furlough and spend a total
of 3-4 months in Africa. We praise
the Lord for a generous gift that a
young church recently made
toward this endeavor. The
approximate costs and other
details can be found on our
website.

Would you continue to pray with
us and for us as we seek to go to
these two African countries?

*Pray for peace and stability in
South Sudan and for this country
to remain open to the Gospel.

*Pray for safety for the Pyle's and
others laboring for the Lord in
South Sudan.

*Pray that God would supply the
needed funds for the 2015 trip.

*Pray for the continued
effectiveness of the radio station
in Uganda and for Bro. Dominic
(Ugandan pastor who operates
the station) and a recent trial he
faced.

*Pray that God would send the
needed support so that we can
get to this field quickly.

*Pray for fruit that will remain.

May the Lord bless you as you
faithfully serve Him.
