Kathrein does not generally have a range of Antennas with a only 4 deg electrical tilt because in our
worldwide experience we have found that this level of electrical tilt does not have any real significant effect in
the radiation pattern as compared to a mechanical tilt. Generally it is only beyond 4 to 6 degrees can you see
a perceivable difference between an electrical and mechanical tilt. If you examine the diagrams above which
contain the radiation pattern of an Antenna with an electrical downtilt (Figure 1) and a mechanical downtilt
(Figure 2) you will notice that it is only after around the 6 degree point does the pattern begin to distort.
