Kris Aquino is one generous friend. The TV host-actress gave her close friend and co-host
Boy Abunda a Hummer for staying alive.
Because he is my best friend, because I'm so grateful he's alive & because I want to make
him happy. I gave Boy the Hummer tonight after A&A (Aquino & Abunda Tonight), Kris
posted on Instagram, along with photos of herself and Boy before the black Hummer.
Birthday gift
While many netizens noted how generous Kris is for giving Boy an expensive vehicle, Kris
said her gift is not enough for everything her co-host has done for her and her family. The
Hummer is Kris advance birthday gift for Boy, who will be celebrating his birthday in
October.
Uulitin ko, kulang pa this gift because sobra sobra ang pagmamahal, pagtiwala at pag
aasikasong naibigay at patuloy na binibigay nya sa kin. Together w/ my brother & my 2
sons, it's with Boy that I continue to experience the gift of true & unconditional love.

In an interview on The Buzz, Boy recalled that he was in a bad state when he was rushed
to the hospital. He underwent various tests, including those for dengue, HIV and typhoid
before the 300 ml abscess was drained from his liver.
Bad fall
Bumigay na ho talaga ako. Sobrang sakit po ng aking ulo. Ayon sa nurses na aking kasama,
ayon sa aking mga nagbabantay, nagdeliryo ho ako. Nagkombulsyon po ako. Ang sabi sa
akin, nagchi-chill daw ako ng sobra. Sobra-sobrang chill, nakakatakot daw akong panoorin.
Tapos kinakagat ko daw ang aking dila, I was gnashing my teeth.
Boy thanked Kris for supporting him in his recent health ordeal, which he described as a
bad fall.

This is one of the worst falls. This is a bad fall, Krissy. And you managed to catch me.

Boy returned to television on Sunday, September 14, for The Buzz, after being gone for
more than a month due to liver abscess. He also went back to hosting Aquino & Abunda
Tonight on Monday, September 15.
