Inducir la reoseointegracin en la superficie de un
implante contaminado, es posible.

El proceso biolgico de la oseointegracin ofrece un
resultado excelente y un pronstico predecible a
largo plazo, si se cumplen con todos los requisitos en
la planificacin, en la ejecucin y en el
mantenimiento del tratamiento.
La historia de periodontitis, diabetes y pobre higiene
oral, favorecen la aparicin de peri-implantitis.
La Peri-implantitis afecta de un 5 - 20% de los
pacientes con implantes y es la principal causa de
fracaso en los mismos.
