Native American Tribe Webquest

There are many stereotypes that exist about American Indians. Contrary to what many people might believe,
not all Americans Indians rode horses and lived in teepees like old western movies depict them. Native
American tribes each had their own language, religion, and way of life. In this WebQuest, you and your
classmates will embark on a journey of discovery to learn about and compare some of the different tribes from
the United States.
1. a title page
2. 2 slides on the Tlingit of the Northwest Coast
3. 2 slides on the Hopi of the Southwest
4. 2 slides on the Iroquois of the Northeast
5. 2 slides on the Lakota of the Western Plains
The title page should contain a title and your name.
The first slide for each tribe will contain bullet points and the facts from your research.
The second slide for each tribe will have a paragraph highlighting the important
characteristics of the tribe, as well as how it is differs from other tribes, and one or two
pictures related to the tribe.

At the end of this WebQuest, you will be sharing a presentation with the class. Be sure
you know what information is being presented on each page. (Note: The information
should not be read directly from the page. You should know the information well
enough that it can be presented without having to be read.)
