2. This article talks about the advances in the newly released iPhone 6 and the new mobile
operating system IOS8. 2 days before the iPhone 6 came out IOS8 was released to the public.
Apples serves were flooded with downloads because of this. The iPhone 6 is bigger than the
previous iPhone and comes with the pre-installed iLite suite which consists of iMovie, iPhoto,
and garage band. Ios8 also allows for the presence of third party keyboards. With the growing
popularity of the new iPhone and its operating system this article shows the highlights of these
products.

3. Search Engines:

When I used google and searched under news for iPhone 6 and ios8 it gave me a bunch of major blog
sites like Forbes and USAtoday. When I search the same thing on yahoo the search gave me a bunch of
customer reviews. I personally like the google search better because it was easier to navigate and easier
to read. The major blogs sites also had more information on the topic as well.
4. Traap for search A.
a. The article was written 9/19/14 and was last updated 9/21/14
b. Yes, this article relates to my topic because it is talking about the new updated apps that
come with the new operating system ios8- that has just been released. It also talks
about some new 3
rd
party apps that are now allowed because of the ios8 update.
c. The author is Jennifer Jolly, considering that this article is a special for USAtoday id
assume that she is qualified to write about this topic because she is a specialist. The
bottom of the article states Jennifer Jolly is an Emmy Award-winning consumer tech
contributor and host of USA TODAY's digital video show.

d. Yes the information is trustworthy and it is backed up with evidence about the topic.
You can tell this because it is documented with apple statistics.
e. The purpose of this article is to inform people about the new variety of apps now
available through ios8. The information can be slightly biased because it has an apple
overview on all its subtopics.

5. Scholarly journal articles
a. The key words I used to look up these databases was iphone6 and ios8
b. The first database I choose was the Business source premier. I choose this data base
because it was at the top of the list and also has all my keywords. The second data I
choose was General Onefile because the title of the source was contradictory to all the
other sources Ive seen and its always good to have a contradictory source so you know
the other side of the argument.

6. I think both these sources were pretty easy to access all I had to do was look them up and I had
access to them. Although some features asked me to pay for the scholarly sources I didnt really
need them. The journal sources took a little longer to get to than the internet sources. However,
the journal sources have a lot more authority because they are scholarly. The internet sources
are changed periodically as well.
