1. Apple Pay: Too complicated for the real world?
2. Paragraph:
Apple Pay is simply a way to pay for things at pretty much any location by simply
tapping your phone to a machine. The phone has a PIN that is inside of it which makes it
possible for users to pay for things with. Many places in London such as coffee shops
have started to use the Apple Pay and it has been successful. It creates a quick, easy,
reliable way for most people to pay for things. Having a PIN in your phone creates less of
a problem with bringing your wallet out with you, less paper work, and its convenient if
you forgot or misplaced your money. Many places such as Hong Kong have made this
possible by simply making a PIN card into a bracelet with a chip in it that can do the
same exact thing. Many dont see the usefulness that this device can give you, but it is as
simple as cash and is just as easy, if not easier than a debit or credit card.
3. Two additional articles:
Apple Pay new technology
Google, Wikipedia
I feel that Google was a better search engine than Wikipedia because Wikipedia
allows anyone to change certain words in their articles. I also believe that google
gave me more reliable sources and more choices to pick a well written article
and one that has all facts in it. Google also gave me multiple articles to choose
from while Wikipedia only gave me one article to read on the subject.
4. TRAAP sources
Time-
Does not clarify when it was written, I only know the year 2014. It also doesnt specify
when it was updated but it does say that it will update as soon as other stores are willing
to use the app.
Relevance-
This article definitely relates to my topic, this article shows what stores are active in the
apple pay paying system and it also explains thoroughly how it works. It also shows that
it is easy to use on the iPhone 6.
Authority-
The people who wrote this article is someone who writes for apple software, it doesnt
give a specific name. I know this article is accurate because it goes into detail about how
the app works and what stores and companies that the app is able to work in. It also
shows pictures and describes exactly how to use the app.
Accuracy-
I would definitely say that this article is accurate, this app has already been used in other
countries and it goes into specific details about how it works, where it works, and it is
also written by the company that produces the product (iPhone 6).

Purpose-
This article was clearly written to persuade and sell the product to the customer. Many
iPhone users are consistently buying the new one when it comes out, this article shows a
great app that most phones cant use in order to show convenience and awareness to the
customer.
5. Two scholarly articles:
Apple Pay
CCBC Library
I chose the database that showed the most information that was as similar to my
other articles as possible, to prove that the information that I got was accurate.
6. Compare the articles
In both articles that I read it is said that the iPhone 6 is the phone that is capable
of using this application. It is also said in both articles that they are both used with an NFC
design system. These articles show that the apple pay supports debit and credit cards and can be
used in many different stores. They both share specific locations and places that this app is
available in such as Disney world, Hong Kong, and many other areas. This app is becoming
more and more popular and I believe will soon be a new way of paying for things other than
using credit or debit cards.
