and how to create a stronger community.
Encourage other members of the group to be involved and pursue a strong relationship with each
other and various members in the community.

Teamwork with who is helping teach the class

Special Ed Mentor 2012-2014
Worked one on one with students in a elementary math level
Ate lunches with the students and invested in them (it was literally a class time I spent with them,
3 days a week)
Required dedication and ample amounts of patience

Physical Therapy Observation January-June 2013
Observed therapists for a total over 50 hours
Required professional skills and a lot of time.
Mentored kids in downtown Richmond Summer 2013
Visited families independently in downtown Richmond and took kids to parks to invest in them
and help single moms.
Mission Trips to Big Creek Missions, Bare Branch Kentucky Spring Breaks from 2009-2013
Worked in the schools with children, built homes, repaired porches, ran food drives, and staffed
carnivals for the community. Stressed interdependency and flexibility.
Community Team Leader for Cru at CNU Spring Semester 2014
Plan and reserve spaces for Cru members to meet and give back to the CNU community.
Attend weekly meetings to stay informed with campus life, suggestions, and work as a team to
encourage growth within Cru.
Requires delegation of responsibilities, organization, dedication, commitment, and responsibility
with funding
Volunteer at RiversideFreshman and Sophomore Year at CNU 2013-2015
In a special ed classroom, so again more patience. I worked with about three students at a time,
usually math related. Learning how to address each student where they are at in order to help
them grasp concepts. Very rewarding
Small Group Leader for Cru at CNU Fall and Spring Semester 2014-2015
I plan with my co-leader Lindsey Tate. We outline a specific topic and study that with other
