TheIntegumentarysystemconsistsofyourbody'sskin.Skinisthetoplayeronyourbody
surfacethatcoverandprotectsallyourvessels,arteriesandorgans.Alsowhenyouare
exercisingitkeepsyoucool,pluswhenyougettoohotyoursweatglandsstarttoseepwater.
Theyproduceasaltywaterthatiscalledsweat.Letsnotforgetthatwhenthatoccursthe
temperatureoftheyourskinchanges.TheDermaltissuesinfluencedbodytemperatureby
eitherallowingordivertingthebloodsaccesstothesurfaceoftheskin.Lastlytheskinalso
helpsyoufeeltheobjectsandpeoplearoundyou.Thetouchreceptorsinyourskinallowsyou
todetecteverytimeyourskincomesincontactsomethinginthisworld.

animportantjobinterviewandyoubegintogetnervousthatcancauseyourhandstosweat
maybeevenyourunderarms.Yourmindcancauseyoutostressorbenervousandthatcan
makeyousweat.Alsothegoodoleexercisingcausesperspiration.Yourbodyismovingata
fastpacewhichcauseadiposetissuetoburnandyourskintosweatwhichisagoodthing.


ThisgraphistheaboutthesweatglandIhaveanalysedonmyrightforearm.

AfteralltheselabsandresearchIhavelearnedalotabouttheIntegumentarysystem.Ihave
learnedthefunctionandthereasonswesweatlikeexercise,thermalheat,andpsychological.
Ittrulyamazesmeonhowjustmebeingnervouscancausesomuchperspiration.Even
thoughIhadachemicalreactiontotheiodinetheamountofsweatglandwehavereally
mademeunderstandwhywecansweatsomuch.Theskintemperaturewasreallythemost
interestingformetocollectthedataon.Analysingthetemperaturedropofmyskinafterthe
icewasplacedonitfor120secondsreallysurprisedme.Therecoveryratewasfasterafter
exercisethenwhentheicewasincontactwithmyskin.AfterAllthisinformationIhave
conductedhasnotonlyeducatedmebuthasincreasedmyintersectintotherestoftheclass
andforcollegewhenIcontinuemyfutureinthesciencefield.
