This certification, along with HIPPA and OSHA certifications, gave me the eligibility to work hands-on with patients and their medications during my internship
with Athens Heart Center.

Co-director of a volunteer program within the heart center, Physicians Circle for Patients, which involves hands-on interaction with underprivileged patients and
their application process for prescription assistance. In July 2014, I expanded this program so that those in the northeast region of Georgia had access to such
assistance. Physicians Circle for Patients has now spread to two new locations in Lavonia, Ga., and Royston, Ga.
Worked daily with pharmaceutical companies and their representatives to be able to give low-income patients the medications they need for cheaper or free.
