3. Download the language version of the assignment template concerned from the MyVLE for
preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using 12 point
Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing. / Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa
yang berkenaan daripada MyVLE untuk penyediaan dan penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan

4. Your assignment should be between 2500 to 3000 words excluding references. Do not copy the
assignment question and instructions to your answer. Only assignment answer developed within
the approximate word limit will be assessed. The number of words should be shown at the end of
your assignment. / Tugasan anda hendaklah mengandungi 2500 hingga 3000 patah perkataan
tidak termasuk rujukan. Bilangan perkataan hendaklah ditunjukkan di hujung tugasan anda.

EVALUATION
This assignment accounts for 40% of the total marks for the course and shall be assessed
based on the Rubrics or Answer Scheme attached.
You would be given feedback on the assignment before the Final Semester Examination
commences.
PLAGIARISM: MARKS DEDUCTION
Warning: The submitted assignment will automatically undergo a similarity check. If
plagiarism is detected, marks would be deducted as follows:

Assignments with 10 - 30% overlap with others: 20% deduction from the total marks
scored.
Assignments with 31 - 50% overlap with others: 40% deduction from the total marks
scored.
Assignments with more than 50% overlap with others: Zero mark would be given.

Amaran: Tugasan yang diserahkan, secara automatik, akan disemak untuk menentukan

underdeveloped country about the uses of radioisotopes in our lives. Your role is to
inform a team of scientists from the country about the technology of radioisotopes and
the success of its application in our country.
Gather information about the application of radioisotope technology in various fields in
our country. Recommend THREE applications of radioisotope that could be beneficial
to the country that lacks natural resources.
Discuss how the use of radioisotopes affects the quality of life on Earth?

SOALAN TUGASAN
Anda merupakan sebahagian daripada kumpulan saintis yang diminta untuk menyampaikan
maklumat kepada sebuah negara yang mundur berkaitan kegunaan radioisotop dalam
kehidupan. Peranan anda adalah untuk mengajar sekumpulan saintis daripada negara
tersebut tentang teknologi radioisotop berpandukan kepada kejayaan aplikasinya di negara
kita.
Kumpul maklumat tentang aplikasi teknologi radioisotop dalam pelbagai bidang di negara
kita. Cadangkan TIGA aplikasi teknologi radioisotop yang boleh membantu memajukan
negara tersebut yang mempunyai kekurangan sumber semulajadi.
