COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for professional teachers from secondary or intensive English
programs to lead them on the reasoning of shaping the teaching practice itself.
The methodology of this course will take teachers to real classroom environments
in order to carry out the techniques being taught.
Besides, the program will supplement any professional, development activities in
which the student-teachers are engaged in, enabling them to think critically about
themselves as professional teachers and their teaching practice techniques.
Emphasis is placed on case study and critical analysis on samples of real teachers
problems. Students are expected to ground solutions to the pedagogical issues
they face in current practice in language education and pedagogy.

COMPETENCY
Analyses and solves the different case study issues whenacting and proposing
solutions and tips of real teaching practice problems.
Uses the different web 2.0 tools when applying them in their real teaching practice
contexts.
