Ariana Grande is a talented singer, actress and dancer. She has a fun and bubbly
personality and she loves to play around with people. Her fans say that she reminds them
of Mariah Carey, as they sing a like with their high notes they sing in their songs.
She was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida. Ariana has an older brother called
Frankie. Her mothers name is Joan Grande and her fathers name is Edward Butera. Her
name 'Ariana' was originally inspired by Princess Oriana from Felix the Cat, the funny
show in 1959. Ariana has a love for fauna and has her own dog, Cocoa. Her familys
nationality is Italian. Ariana has 2 childhood nicknames they are Ari and little red, she is
still called those nicknames now.
Ariana Grande went to North Broward School. She joined the school choir but Mr.Malone
(the principal) didn't let her in because other girls got jealous of how good her voice was.
Ever since she was started school her role model was Whiteny Houston.
In 2008 Ariana She acted as Charlotte on Broadway's 2008 performance of 13 with her
friend Liz Gillies. After her performance she won a National Youth Theatre Association
Award for her performance. In 2009, she was in a Tv show called The Battery's Down
and played the role as Bat Mitzvah. Ariana Grande was in a show called Victorious and she
played the role as Cat Valentine. As Cat Valentine in Nickelodeon's Victorious and iCarly,
she dyed her hair red to resemble a red velvet cupcake - her bubbly character's favourite
sweet snack. At the Kids Choice Awards of 2011, the show Victorious won, the best show
award.
In August of 2011, she was featured on the cover of Dream Magazine. In 2012, her first
single Put Your Hearts Up, was on the top 25 chart. Grande began working on her debut
album while she was filming Victorious and formally started to work on it with a record
label after she was signed to Republic Records on August 10, 2011. The music video for
"Put Your Hearts Up" was shot on November 23, 2011. It was directed by Meiert Avis and
Jeremy Alter. On February 14, 2012, the official music video was uploaded on YouTube
under ArianaGrandeVevo. It was released on the 12th of December in the year of 2011. In
2011, Grande voiced an animated fairy, Princess Diaspro, on the Nickelodeon series Winx
Club. She also starred as Snow White, a snow white Christmas on December 2012.
Her first album was Yours truly it was published in 2013. Ariana Grande went to an award
ceremony and she won an award for, 2013's new favourite singer. This year, Ariana
Grande has her own show called, Sam and Cat. She plays the role as Cat and her Friend
Jennette McCurdy plays the role as Sam. Ariana Grande went to the Kids Choice Awards
of 2014, and she won the best actress of Nickelodeon. In 2014, Ariana Grande was invited

to a ceremony for being part of the top 40 famous female vocalists. She firstly sang a
song by Whitney Houson and she also sang her own song called tattooed heart.
Ariana Grande has recently made a song called problem. She sang it with Iggy Azzela and
it was #1 on itunes under 30 minutes. She performed at the VMAs and danced during
singing. She also performed at the Ellen De Generes show. She also has 2 recent song
called Break Free and The Best Mistake.
This year Ariana Grande was in a show called Family Guy and played the role as their
Italian Daughter.
