Methods of collecting gases

In general, air is a mixture of N2 (78%) and O2 (21%), the molar mass of air is about 28.6 g/mol.
78% N2 21% O2 = 28.6 g / mol
Denser gases have molar mass greater than air.
Lighter gases have molar mass smaller than air.
Relative atomic massH=1.0, He=4.0, C=12.0, N=14, O=16.0, F=19.0, Ne=20.2, S=32.1

This method is suitable for collecting all gases and measuring the volume of gases formed.
However, this method is inconvenient when to release the gas for testing.
