Learned advanced levels of algebra,
trigonomtery, and geometry. Helped set a
foundation to succeed in all mathmatical
tasks. Enjoyed and performed well.
Learned basic physical chemistry and concepts
that prepared me for physiology and
biochemistry. Found very applicable to other
coursework.
Learned new innovative methods for working
with youth athletes under renowned professor
Dr. Carr. Would refer back to in the future
for coaching young kids
Learned the history of American Government
and the basis for it's function
Learned interesting ideas over speaking,
perception, ego, and other human concepts
Covered various writing skills. Learned
different
methods of citations that come useful for
future research classes
Covered basic psychology and psychological
disorders. Helped me learn more about my
thought patterns.
Dove into organic chemistry. I found the
relationship to food particularly interesting
and helpful in food science coursework
First class I did not find as engaging. Learned
marketing tehniques that may be helpful
in future selling of products or myself
Excited to take my first nutrition course and
learned a lot about basic macronutrients,
micronutrients, RDA's, RI, and AI's.
Covered environmental and sustainablity
issues with our current food systems and
suggested was in which local and industry
food can help us move towards sustainability
Discovered business principles I was
completely
unaware of beforehand. Hand an outstanding
professor and began managing my income

BIOS 1030: Human Biology I
Learned new biology information that had
not been covered in my previous classes. Was
a great foundation for Anatomy & Physiology
ECON 1030: Principles of Micro
Learned trends in the economy that can

Gave a new perspective on business.
NUTR 2000: Lifespan Nutrition
Learned basics of nutrition therapy from
neonatal to geriatrics. Was extremely
interesting
and built on my information from Nutr 1000.
Can see potential use of information in clinical
settings provided from this course
NUTR 2200: Science of Food I
Loved the chemistry tie-in with this course
and learned a mass of information. Expanded
my knowledge of food greatly.
NUTR 2990: Professional
Learned about career opporuntiies in the
Development in Food Nutrition
field of nutrition and helped me become set
on my career path as a dietitian.
NUTR 3000: Nutrient Metabolism
First scientifically dense course that taught me
to a great detail about the metabolism of
macronutrients, micronutrients, and water.
Definite clinical applications as a dietitian.
ACCT 1020: Decision Making with
Built on skills I learned in Acct1010 and taught

My toughest course to date and completed
it with an A. Never been as proud of myself
in a course as this. Firmly learned all the
organic chemistry concepts and it has helped
my understanding of food as a whole
NUTR 2220: Food Science II
Furthered my knowledge of food science and
really enjoyed this class. My best research
paper to date was written in this course.
Learned more in these courses than any
BIOS 1300&1310: Human Anatomy course
and Physiology I & II
taken during my time at Ohio U. Had an
outstanding professor that made every
concept extremely interesting. Can see this

concepts that were all very interesting. My
favorite topcs were food microand gut micro biota

a clinical setting.

an experienced professor that I would of never
been able to learn on my own. Will help me
if I do consulting for resturants and related
businesses
Had an astounding amount of hands on
experience producing food for a school
caf. Greatly increased my culinary skills
and knowledge
Gained knowledge regarding post
employment
opportunities and was given assistance in
how to give one the best chance for
placement
in a dietitic internship.
