Mission- Our mission is to find Arkansas State University students a home away from home while pushing them to
strive to become leaders on campus and in the community.
Financial Status- For our client, financial status isnt an issue. The morale, philanthropic, and initiated
Members is what we consider success for Arkansas State Green Women.
Reputation- Greek Lifes reputation varies within different groups of people. According to administrators, Greek life
is viewed as helpful and service-minded. According to the student body, Greek life reputation varies from cocky and
competitive to philanthropic and leaders on campus.
Past practices- Each sorority has their own philanthropy and all Greek life events are competitive within the
sororities. Examples: Homecoming Week, Greek Week, Cream of the Crop, Derby Days, Greek Goddess, etc. Future
Current practices- NPC Greek Womens goal is to create a philanthropy for all sororities to serve together and to
Eliminate sorority events from being constant competition.
Strengths- NPC Greek Womens strengths are their leadership skills, philanthropic efforts, and community and
Campus involvement. Weaknesses- NPC Greek Womens overall reputation among peers, our deserved
Mentality, competition within ourselves.
Opportunities- The opportunities within NPC Greek Women are endless. As soon as a student joins a
Greek organization, they can instantly hold leadership rolls, volunteer for campus functions, join
philanthropic events, and work to make our campus a better place.
Opportunity/ problem- NPC Greek Women is a reactive PR program with the short range goal of improving
and increasing morale among members and shifting the past viewed reputation of Greek Women.

Research procedures
RESEARCH FOR MORALE OBJECTIVE-we created and conducted a survey regarding npcs sororitys morale. we would ask every sorority member
to participate but for this project, we simply asked 2 members from each sorority. 70% PERCENT OF THE
PARTICIPANTS FELT THE SORORITY HOUSES INCREASED MORALE, BUT ONLY 50% FELT THEY WERE A PART OF A LARGE GREEK
FAMILY INSTEAD OF JUST A MEMBER OF ONE GREEK ORGANIZATION. SORORITY MEMBERS ATTITUDES CAN BE FOUND ON ANY
SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE, BUT TWITTER IS THE MOST POPULAR FOR OPINION LIKE POSTS. 100% OF THE PARTICIPANTS SEE (1-3)
STRICTLY GREEK (NOT AN INDIVIDUAL SORORITY, EXAMPLE: WHOOHOO, THE BEST OF THE BEST! GO OMICRON PI! #OOHKILLEM)
TWEETS. 50% Of the participants only see (1-3) tweets from the organizations twitter account.
-the comment section helped us decide where we needed to take our next step in our campaign.

research for reputationtotal fraternity move (tfm) article (published October 10, 2013)
-The TfM article wrote a brief article about the construction of arkansas states sorority row. tfm is known
for their satire and mostly inappropriate comments, but this article was not as bad as it could have been. the
main comment was directed towards administrators, stating, Plus having the sororities in school-owned housing
might give the administration a little bit more control over the girls, which is every administrators dream.
arkansas state universitys the herald (published september 29, 2013)
-This semester, even the schools own newspaper made an attack at the character of Greek Life. ASU Greek Life
is the place you belong; if you fit the direction of the organization, if you have a certain GPA, if you are pretty
enough, if you make our donors happy, and maybe if you have the right color skin? the article was very
forward on their judgment of our character, and it was not flattering.
AudiencesOUr main target audience is arkansas state universitys student body. WHEN YOU ARE ASSOCIATED WITH A UNIVERSITY,
THEIR OPINION OF YOUR ORGANIZATION MATTERS. THE SECOND TARGET AUDIENCE IS OURSELVES: NPC GREEK WOMEN. WE MUST
FIX OURSELVES AND OUR MORALE BEFORE WE CAN SHOW THE STUDENT BODY OUR CHARACTER.
