lot and that it is
a renewable
source of
energy.

SWEDEN USE
WIND ENERGY?

lot of people
use wind energy
in Sweden and if
you visit
Sweden you will
see a lot of wind
turbines around
the place.

HOW MANY PEOPLE

USE WIND ENERGY
IN SWEDEN?
About 15 percent of our
electricity use comes from
wind.

Wind energy is
harnessed by a
generator inside a
box in the wind
turbine so when
the wind is
spinning the
turbines then in
the generator it
creates electricity
because the
generator is
turning the wind
to electricity.

ENERGY

Another energy source

in Sweden is water
energy because there
is a lot of water and
lakes in Sweden and it
is a renewable source
of energy.
Another source of
energy is solar energy
Sweden uses solar
energy because with a
low investment cost,
long life, and rising
electricity prices, solar
cells is a safe
investment for the
future.

Wind energy is one of

the best sources of
alternative energy.
Windmills have been in
use since 2000 B.C.
and were first
developed in Persia and
China.
Higher wind speeds
mean more electricity,
and wind turbines are
getting taller to reach
higher altitudes where
its even windier.
The spinning blades
can go so fast so that
you only need five in a
farm to power a village.

FACTS ABOUT
WIND ENERGY

A cause is that the wind

turbine makes a lot of
noise.
The effect is that it harms
flying animals in the air.
A cause is that wind
turbines take up space in
the animals habitats.
The effect is that there is
no more room for the
animals to live and breed
there cubs in.
Another effect is that the
animals in the nature
have no were to live so
they will be extinct if we
dont stop building more
machines and people will
stop living there were all
the turbines are.

EFFECT

CONS:

A con is that wind

energy makes a lot of
noise in the wild life of
animals and it takes up a
lot of space in the nature.
A con is that if we go
deeper into the wild lifes
habitat then they wont
exist any longer.

PROS:

A pro is that it is a
renewable source of
energy and that it is not
killing walking animals.
A pro is that it is a very
good reliable source of
energy.
