The Cowboy Code

1. A cowboy never takes unfair advantage - even of an enemy. Be tough, but fair.
2. A cowboy never betrays a trust. He never goes back on his word and always tells the
truth.
3. A cowboy is kind and gentle to small children, old folks, and animals.
4. A cowboy is free from racial and religious intolerances. If you want to be respected,
you must respect others.
5. A cowboy is always helpful when someone is in trouble.
6. A cowboy is always a good worker, takes pride in his work and always finishes what
he starts.
7. A cowboy respects womanhood, his parents and his nation's laws.
8. A cowboy is clean about his person in thought, word, and deed.
9. A cowboy lives each day with courage and does what has to be done, he will be
brave, but never careless.
10. A cowboy talks less and says more.
11. A cowboys good deeds always come to light, don't boast or be a show-off.
12. A cowboy believes that to have a friend, a man must be one.
13. A cowboy lives by the rule of what is best for the greatest number but he must know
where to draw the line.
14. A cowboy shall remember that some things aren't for sale.
