Nature of Scope of
Practice
Sec. 5 of RA9292

Similarities
the nature of scope and practice of ECE
shall also be applicable to PECE.

Differences
A. PECE shall be the one who can provide
consulting services, and to sign and seal
electronic
plans,
drawings,
permit
applications, specifications, reports and
other technical documents prepared by
himself under his supervision

B.

ECEs are not prevented from

rendering
design
work
and
providing/assuming any supervisory
role in electronics work and related
documents submitted to regulatory
authorities, reviewed accordingly
sealed and signed by PECE.

C. Consulting services
as
defined in Sec 3 Art 1 of RA
9292 is classified herein as
consulting services rendered
by PECE.
