Los Pasatiempos

Due: Jueves, el dieciocho de diciembre

This unit we will be exploring hobbies and pastimes. This project is meant to get you to use your vocabulary, practice speaking, practice conjugations, and to
explore the cultures of Spanish speaking countries.
The assignment is to present the pastimes that you enjoy and compare them to the pastimes of people from Spanish-speaking country or region. You will pick
one pastime you enjoy and two pastimes from a Spanish-speaking country or region and talk about both of them and describe them.
Your descriptions should answer the following questions:
What is it? How it is done/played?
Where is it popular?
Why it is popular (or the history of the hobby)?
Your options are:
A skit
A puppet show
A comic
Leading the class in an activity
Other (please speak with me if you have an idea of how to present the material in another way)
Notes about the project:

You may work in groups of up to 3 people or you may work alone. It is your choice.

The project can involve the use of a computer but there will not always be class time with computers for you to work. If you choose to use a computer
please make sure you can continue your work somehow at a computer at home or make arrangements during or after/before school to use a computer.

We will be working on this in class this week. Use your time wisely and you will have to take work home for this project.

This is a unit project and it will be the test for this unit. It is worth 50 points.
