Essential Question: How did Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) people obtain food, clothing,
shelter, tools, & fire?
Learning Target/Objective: I can describe how Paleolithic people lived.
VOCABULARY: Paleolithic, Neolithic, migration
Procedure: Students will be placed into 5 groups. Each group will read a section of
Human Heritage pp. 33-36 Each group will prepare a poster which explains their section.
Next, they will teach that section to the class.
Exit Slips:
Day 1: Compare or contrast one way Paleolithic people lived with how you live.
Day 2: Draw Paleolithic person. Show their food, clothing, shelter, tools, & fire in your
drawing.
