Management and Evaluation Programs for Facilitators

Learning community approaches that may affect management:
Different learning approaches play a tremendous role in learners subject
comprehension. It is essential to provide tools that will help learners demonstrate the
knowledge they obtained.
Specific challenges and strategies used to manage adjunct faculty
I. Faculty members may struggle with outlining specific assignments that will boost
individuals performance. Our mentoring programs will help instructors manage and
outline their instruction. Also, develop ways to reach all learners in a profound way.
II. Adjunct instructors may have a difficult time expressing specific materials online. As an
online facilitator, it is imperative to have open lines of communication. Facilitators can
ensure they answer learners questions promptly. This will help create a meaningful
online learning relationship between faculty and student.
Evaluation Strategies for Online Facilitators:
Evaluation is a key component in instructions. Evaluations can help instructors
enhance current and future classes. It is recommended that we conduct surveys at the
beginning of class to see what learners instructional needs are. For example,
facilitators can ask question to get a feel for what the learners will expect out of the
class. Post surveys allow instructors to analyze their entire classroom instructors.
Facilitators should take surveys to see if they need to modify future instruction.
Evaluation and Management strategies align with skills and behaviors:
It is imperative to align management policies with faculty instruction. Online
instructors can take evaluations and tweak instruction to fit the policies. Distance
learners can provide extensive feedback and offer creative tools as long as it fit the
institution guidelines.

Types Distance Learners

Cooperative learners consist of supporting diverse groups, and collide ideas that will enhance
assignment productivity.
Active learners encourage individuals to take responsibility of facilitators learning guidelines.
Experimental learners take part in the process of learning and provide direct experiences to
increase learning context.

Synchronous vs. Asynchronous Facilitation

Asynchronous and synchronous are both critical components of learning. Synchronous
requires live communication through being physical in class or classroom chat lines.
Asynchronous requires individuals to work at their own pace. Online learners can set their
own schedule to ensure the required work is submitted before deadline.

Technology & Management Concerns

There are many things that can affect learning online. Technology tools can be a useful
learning outlet, but can cause issues in distance learning. The following are examples of how
technology can affect online learning:
Distance education technologies are expanding at an extremely rapid rate. Too often,
instructional designers and curriculum developers have become enamored of the latest
technologies without dealing with the underlying issues of learner characteristics and needs,
the influence of media upon the instructional process, equity of access to interactive delivery
systems, and the new roles of teacher, site facilitator, and student in the distance learning
process.

Learners Feedback
The following are two types of feedback that will be utilized:

10

Facilitating Training Program

Information feedback will consist of evaluative course assignments and give appropriate
responses for students grade or questions.
Acknowledgement feedback will assure students that their thoughts are being valued and
appropriate actions of questions will be handled according to schools policies.

Challenging Behaviors
Problems may arise in education online. There will be rules and regulations in handling
irate behavior. The following are examples of how we will handle each conflict:
Cyber-bullying: If a facilitator notices a problem with one of her students, they should
evaluate all posts. The instructor should report incidents immediately, and explore possible
recommendations in upcoming policies, trainings, or professional development.
Inappropriate discussion responses: If a facilitator observes an inappropriate response, they
should address it immediately. We recommend you discussing in private message to the
student, and give them appropriate advice on how to respond or post to classmates. If the
student continues to post obscene responses, then the schools administrator should be
notified.
Lack of participation: It is important to motivate learners in education. Facilitators can try to
involve students in discussion questions by requiring them to respond to questions in a timely
manner. Also, providing guidelines to participation is imperative. This will allow learners to
know what is expected out of them.

ADA Learners and Strategies

Facilitators should be aware of students need in their class. It is imperative to analyze
information and modify instruction if needed. Some ADA learners may consist of physical
