Both artists use black and
white in their photographs as
it makes certain parts stand
out. In Branzis piece, there
is emphasis on the shadows
and the unknown man and in
Schulz-Dornburgs piece, the
woman stands out because
her coat is much darker than
anything else in the
photograph.
