Book Character Dress-Up Day

Author Visit

To help celebrate literature and reading, GWA is

going to have a character dress-up day on Thursday,
26th March, 2015. Students are asked to dress-up as
book characters (no superheroes or movie
characters).

On Monday and Tuesday, 23rd and 24th March,

2015 GWA will be hosting an author visit. She is a
local author, Jacqui Gray, who has written and
illustrated a book called My Magical Garden, in
collaboration with Terri Allen. The book will be
available for purchase after school on both these
days.

Book Swap
The library will be organizing a used book swap.
Students are asked to bring in a book they feel their
peers will enjoy. This book should be in English, in
good condition and appropriate to their current
age. Books will be handed to the teacher and the
students will receive a book token for each book
donated. This token can then be used to purchase a
book at the book swap on Wednesday and Thursday,
25th and 26th March, 2015.
