1. What do you see as your current strengths as an Outdoor Recreation Leadership and
Management (OLRM) major?
Right now really just that I am good at appreciating the outdoors and getting other people
outside. I know it is important and I want to help other people be connected with nature.
2. What do you see as your current challenges (weakness) as an OLRM major?
I have had too much personal experience yet.
3. What will you do in the future to improve OLRM skills?
Take courses that will develop my skill. Take advantage of opportunities to learn new skills.
Learn whenever I can.
4. In what OLRM areas would you most like to improve?
I think I am lacking in outdoor technical skills and I would really like to learn.

Outdoor Skills (technical skills sets evolving aspects of adventure activities)

5 I dont have a lot of technical skills at this point I am hoping to develop them through classes
in the program
Human Skills (the ability to work with others as a leader/ group member /communicator)
8 I work well in groups. I had to lead campers and other counselors at a camp which required a
lot of communication skills
Educational Skills (the ability to teach, facilitate, and motivate others increasing their
knowledge base in OLRM related topics)
