Introduction: What I believe:

Jesus Christ the Son is a being that was given life by the eternal God, before creation.
Jesus Christ the Son is not God, god, Jehovah or the Father in any way. The so called Trinity doctrine,
where Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all separate persons yet all God, is a false teaching.
The Genealogy of the Son, Jesus Christ: (My in depth study numbers are in the left column)
01B Jehovah God is eternal, without beginning or end.
02
At a point before Creation God fathered and created his spiritual Son. The Son was born, given life.
02
The eternal being caused another being to exist. Before this point the Son, later called Jesus, did not exist.
01D This was the point Jehovah God became the Father per genealogy.
OT and NT definition of father: He, him, masculine: parent, ancestor, a giver of life, originator.
02C This was the point when Jesus became a Son of God per genealogy.
OT and NT definition of Son: He, him, masculine, child, offspring, receiver of life, originated.
02B This was the point when Jesus became the firstborn Son of God per genealogy (Colossians 1:15).
02E Jesus the son does not have equality with God the Father.
02N Jesus has a God, (Matthew 27:46). God does not have a God.
The Beginning of Creation
03
God the Father the creator, through and with Jesus the Son together formed creation.
The Beginning of Mankind
01C God fathered and created Adam his earthly son per genealogy (Luke 3:38). Adam was born, given life.
01C God is the immediate joint Father and creator of every man that has ever lived, as he was with Cain.
01C Each man that ever lived is a son of God per genealogy.
(Jesus Christ the Son is the brother of every human that ever lived per genealogy. God is not our brother)
The Old Testament
07
OT prophecies say that God would send another being, a prophet. God would not come himself.
The New Testament Birth of Jesus
10
God alone caused Marys pregnancy of Jesus who had the spirit of the original Son of God from heaven.
To say Jesus is God is to agree with the Catholic theory that Mary is the mother of God.
10A Jesus became a/the Son of Man. God is not a man or a son of man (Numbers 23:19).
10B The anointing of Jesus as the Messiah/Christ brought together the OT prophecies of priest, prophet, king
14B Jesus was the son before he came in the flesh. God could not come in the flesh and be opposed to himself.
Who Said What about Christ
11
God said this is my son, not this is God.
11B Jesus made numerous statements to show God the Father alone is God.
12
Jesus tells us who Jesus is, and he did not ever claim to be God.
13B Paul calls Jesus many things, but never calls him God.
There are at least 90 differences between Jesus and God (section 29)
02M Jesus became the heir of the universe, (Hebrews 1:2). God doesnt need to inherit anything.
15
Jesus was given all authority over all creation by God. God does not need to be given authority.
17
Jesus did not please himself, and submits his will to Gods (John 6:38). Therefore Jesus cannot be God.
17B Jesus is a servant of God, God is not a servant of God.
18
Jesus was tempted, God cannot be tempted therefore Jesus cannot be God.
18B Jesus was made perfect because he wasn't perfect, God is perfect and unchanging therefore Jesus isn't God
20
Jesus prayed to God. God doesnt pray to anyone therefore Jesus cannot be God
22
God put everything under Jesus. God did not put everything under God.
25
God chose and appointed Jesus before Bethlehem, God did not choose or appoint God.
25B Jesus was the priest and the atonement, God is neither of them.
26
Jesus took on the sins of the world, was cursed by God, said my God why have you forsaken me, died,
became a ransom, became a sacrifice, reconciled us to God, was separated from God, and was raised on the
3rd day. Jesus cannot be God because none of these nine events can happen to God.
Who and What is Jesus to us?
31
Jesus intercedes and mediates between us and God. God is not the intercedor or mediator
34
Jesus is our brother in relationship with God. If Jesus is God then God is our brother, which is unbiblical.
37E At a point in Jesus earthly life God gave Jesus authority to forgive sins. God already had authority.
From the end of Christs life until the End of Time

27
37
37C
38

Jesus left the earth and went back to God at his right hand. To say God is back with God is not biblical.
Jesus gives the kingdom back to God at the the end of time, (1 Cor 15:24). Therefore Jesus cannot be God.
God has rescued us from his own wrath through the life and death of the savior Jesus Christ.
When God and Jesus return in the future, only God knows the end of times, Jesus will rescue us from
Gods wrath, and Jesus will be subject to God at the end of times. To scrutinize these four statements
reveals the impossibility that Jesus is God.
Is This A Salvational Issue
39/39CBelieving Jesus is God creates a very long list of deliberate or non deliberate doctrinal mistakes. Because
of this I have to ask are you teaching the correct gospel, are you teaching something that is true? I say no
you are not. At the least this is a false doctrine, and at the most it could cause others to lose their salvation.
However I can understand how people can believe Jesus is God due to many things, in the same way that
people in different churches have other different salvational understanding. I believe that God's grace and
the blood of Christ will likely cover those who have mistakenly taken the "Jesus is God" viewpoint.
False Teaching
50
The teaching that Jesus is God and/or the Trinity theory is a teaching of the people not of Jesus. It is a
human philosophical tradition poorly supported by a small number of scriptures.
57
Barton Stone: (co founder of the Church of Christ 1772-1844)
I shall state the doctrine of the trinity and give my reasons why I can not receive it.That the Son of
God was very (fully) and eternal God, and yet eternally begotten, is a doctrine to which I cannot
subscribe; because the terms eternal Son and eternally begotten, are not found in the Bible.
Alexander Campbell (co founder of the Church of Christ 1788-1866)
The teaching that God is three, separate persons is destructive, divisive and proof of little interest in
the Bible. It is not something accepted or understood by most and leaves them like "wide-eyed owls
sitting on a tree limb"-- troubled but uncomplaining. It is unbiblical, unhistorical, not part of the
Restoration movement and not a view of churches of Christ not flirting with charismatic worship.
When did our church change from the beliefs of our founders to the current teaching? What years?
Summary:
The Bible teaches that Jesus the Son is a being, or entity, that was given life by the eternal God, before
creation. Biblically Jesus Christ the Son is not God, god, Jehovah, or the Father in any way.
The Trinity doctrine of Father Son and Holy Spirit as all separate persons yet all God, is false teaching.
Church Analysis
The doctrine of the nature of Christ has been the the cause of more disagreements, separation, division and
dis-unity in the 2000 year history of the Church. Currently there are theologians in different denominations
that argue Christ came into existence for the first time at Bethlehem, others that he is a lesser god created
before creation, others that he is one person of a three person eternal Trinitarian God, others that he is not a
Trinitarian God but that he is the eternal God. All viewpoints are very different, all theologians believe it
is salvational.
The Church of Christ in the early 1800s was started to get away from creeds, traditions and man made
doctrines including Trinitarianism, now they are alive and well in our congregation. From the pulpit or web
sites teachers have professed that we all believe in the Trinity Doctrine. Others disagree with the Trinity
theory but say Jesus is God, I say he is not. We are a divided people per who Jesus Christ is, the one who
we rely on for our salvation.
Moving Forward. Where Do We Go From Here?
Ephesians 4:12 for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of
the knowledge of the Son of God,
Work towards unity in our Church teachings regarding the relationship between Jesus and God
1 Corinthians 13:2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all
knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
All theoretical discussion has to be done with love, patience, and understanding or its futile. In science, if a
hypothesis is contradicted by the evidence it is revised.
