The purpose of this video is to educate

teenagers about anxiety

People/raise awareness about Anxiety disorders.

N/A

How to treat some one who suffers from anxiety.

A 4-5 minute film maximum 6 minutes,

There will be text with a possible voice over,

I hope to add a little bit of actual filming in the

beginning to give perspective on how little
people know about anxiety disorders. Or have
some one with anxiety talk about their disorder.

The font options I will be using are gothic, for

normal scene writing, and Cooper black, or
Franklin Gothic Medium for the title.

The color specifications for my design: Because I

found that a lot of videos that talk about
disorders, use black and white as its only colors, I
would want my videos to have black and white
but also other colors that match it, such as green
& blue, or orange and yellow, or pink and green.

There will also be quotes/a quote in my video

that says what life is like with anxiety.

There will also be a scene with anxiety statistics in

teenagers.

There will be a simple guide saying how to help

people with anxiety. With around 5-10 tips.

By the time people have watched this video

they will have a basic understanding as to what
anxiety.

Design Annotations:
Design 1:

My target Audience is teenagers aged 13-18.

My end users are, the 4 people I interviewed

when I was doing my design brief to get an idea
on how little people know about anxiety.

Music doesnt over lap the voice over.

Because anxiety can be a sensitive subject, I

want to make sure that all of my information is
correct, and that I do not offend anybody in the
making of this video.

Really good transitions.

Interviews with people, that flow into the video.

A voice over that flows with the screen writing.

Digital Design: Developing Ideas

Box 1: The first scene of my video is just going to be the title of my
video, which gives a basic idea of what the video is going to talk
about, I also used 4 colors in the title which will be my themed
colors throughout the movie, along with the colors black and
white.
Box 2: In Box 2 there is a person behind the camera asking what
anxiety is, and the person in front of the camera has no clue as
to what anxiety is exactly, which will put things into perspective
for my target audience, as well as the people who are watching
the video.
Box 3: In box 3 I have put a quote which I came up with, it is not
the exact quote I plan to use but that is the type of idea I have,
and I put it there as a transition into the facts and tips after the
entrance scene.
Box 4: In box 4 I have placed the anxiety statistics which will be
statistics of anxiety in teenagers, as this scene opens I plan for the
graph to move up to to its numbers instead of just a plain image
there. In this graph I also plan to use the different colors on a
white background instead of just black on white.
Box 5: Box 5 will be my longest scene I think because I will be
talking bo9ut a lot of information, I dont plan to show
everything at once but there will be slow transitions, there will
also be as minimal amount of sentences as possible, and the
writing will be in the themed colors on a white background.
Box 6: box 6 is how I plan to close my video by giving people
advice and tips on how to treat their friend or even family
member with anxiety and it will also have tips as to what
happens if your friend has a panic attack, and what you can do
to help them.
Transition setting in design 1: Fade to black
Font settings: Title; Cooper Black, General writing; Gothic.
Song of choice for the background music: Avril Lavigne Everybody
hurts or Ill be missing you: P. Diddy feat Faith Evans.

Design 2:

Box 1: Very similar to the first design box 1 is the title box, which
introduces the video, and what is it about. The title I have chosen
is Anxiety in Teens because that is my main topic and it is
very straightforward. The colors I have chose for the title there
are pink and green because they both contrast off of each
other.
Box 2: In box 2 I will be asking people who have an anxiety
disorder to describe their anxiety with 1 word. This will put
emotion and perspective into my video and I feel that it will
capture the audiences attention.
Box 3: In box 3 I will be using quotes that celebrities have used to
speak about anxiety, to show that anyone can suffer from
anxiety. I will be using quotes such as the ones on the page like
Its upsetting because anxiety keeps me from enjoying things
that I should enjoy at this age by Amanda Seyfriend, who was
very young when she got anxiety, there will also be other quotes,
and if its possible I will try and find a voice over of them saying
those quotes.
Box 4: Whats life like for people with anxiety. Much like design 1
I want to talk about what life is like for people with anxiety and
how they are more aware and cautious, and are constantly on
edge. Etc.

Digital Design: Developing Ideas

Box 5: In box 5 I will generally talk about the main different
anxiety disorders, the ones that I went into detail in my research.
Also how these different disorders are caused.
Box 6: How to help some one with anxiety. Because in my video I
am trying to educate teenagers about anxiety and how
teenagers suffer from anxiety, I would also ant them to know how
to help a fellow teenager who suffers from anxiety.
Transition setting in design 2: Fade to black.
Font setting: Titile: Franklin Gothic Medium General writing: Gothic
Song of choice for background music: Tom Odell Long way down.

Design 3:

Box 1: Introduction title Anxiety within us, which sends off the
message that anyone can have anxiety. I chose the colors green
and blue again because they contrast each other and can get
the audiences attention.
Box 2: In box 2 I will be asking 4 people who suffer from anxiety
what they feel is the biggest misunderstanding about
anxiety/their anxiety. I have done this because I feel that it could
have a very big impact on the audience, because it could have
a lot of emotion.

Digital Design: Developing Ideas

Box 3: In box 3 I will be showing more statistics, which will show
the increase of anxiety in teenagers, and what those increases
are linked to.
Box 4: What is Anxiety? In box 4 I will talk about what anxiety is as
well as the different disorders, and how anxiety can be linked to
depression, and possibly other mental disorders. This will then
connect to box 5.
Box 5: From box 4- box 5 there will be a smooth transition
because I am linking the causes and what is anxiety. In box 5 I
am talking about what causes anxiety disorders.
Box 6: In box 6 I am asking the same 4 people that I spoke to in
the beginning of the video, and this time I will be asking how
others can help them, which I think will really get the message
through to the audience.
Script Basic Draft:
Because my designs all talk about the same information I have
developed one script where I gathered the information from my
research.

What causes Anxiety?

Anxiety is caused by:
Trauma from abuse, victimization, death of a loved one.
Stress at work/school.
Stress in a personal relationship.
Stress from a serious illness
Substance abuse
Genetics
What are the different disorders?
GAD
Social Phobia
Panic disorder
Agoraphobia
PTSD
Obsessive compulsive disorder
How can you help some one with anxiety?
Avoid acting like a superhero, constantly asking them if they are okay
wont help, it will make them feel weaker, they will come to you when they
need your help.
Setting boundaries is good, because your friend are scared of what might
happen they may ask you to do a lot of things for them, its good to set
boundaries because it can help them overcome their anxiety slowly, but
you cant just force them to do things that they dont feel comfortable
with.
Educate yourself about anxiety.
Whats life like for people with anxiety?
Exercise
Diet
Thoughts and emotions
Stress reduction
Social support.

Digital Design: Developing Ideas

Design chosen: 3
Justification:
I have chosen design number 3 as my final design because this
was the design that met my design specifications perfectly and it also
received a lot of positive feedback from my target audience, as well
as people chose design number 3 as their favorite design.
My design has reached all 16-design specifications, and 2 out of 3 of
the wish lists, which included interviews that flow into the video, and
good transitions between scenes. This design had a different layout to
my other designs, which is why I believe it stood out the most to my
target audience. What they liked was that they were receiving advice
from people in the video, instead of just reading it and hearing it on the
screen.
I also find that I received the least negative feedback on design
number 3, which is why I have selected it. But out of the negative
feedback that I did receive that is where I plan to start my
improvements such as changing the colors of the title, and statistics
bar, the colors I have chosen to replace those are the same colors I
used in my theme for design #2. The second improvement I plan to
make is to add images where there is just text on the slides, I will do this
by taking images that connect with the topic an di hope this will ad
more effect to my video. The final change I will make is on slide #4, I will
also talk about panic attacks, for when I asked for feedback from
people with anxiety one of them recommended that I talk about panic
attacks.
Final Design:

This heading is
the color I plan
to use but the
name of the
movie will still
be Anxiety
within us
Talk about panic attacks.

These are the

images I would
like to take so
that I can
incorporate a
lot more
emotion into
my video.

will help us to go out and talk to people, we will expand our boundaries when
we feel comfortable.
4: If we tell you about our disorder, it is a sign of trust and we look to
you for care, and understanding. It took a lot of courage for us to say that.
