The Exploits of Napoleon

Weve all read newspapers and we know what they look like. Normally there is a front
page with the most important news of the day. The article titles are written in big
letters and are usually very exciting and designed to attract the readers attention so
that they will buy the paper. The people who write those titles are called editors.
Your assignment is pretend that you are the editors and writers of a newspaper; you
decide what the name of the paper is. For each event in the rise and fall of Napoleon,
you will create a
title
and
article
that would go with the event, PRETENDING THAT WE
ARE THERE AND LIVING AT THE TIME! Look at the
example to help:

Royalist forces, wanting France to be a monarchy once again, stormed the streets of
Paris. In the face of this attack, a young general named Napoleon Bonaparte defended
our city from the enemies of the revolution. Though outnumbered, Napoleon used
grapeshot in his cannons to ward off the attackers, who fled in fear. With this brave
action, Napoleon has saved the revolution! Those reactionaries will think twice about
trying to turn back the clock now.
